Commercial Stainless Steel Equipment Stand
A commercial stainless steel equipment stand supports a countertop appliance at a height suited to the operator and the cooking line. Select the stand around the actual griddle, fryer, oven or other appliance, including its support feet, loaded weight and service connections.
Start with the Appliance, Not Just the Table Size
Two appliances with the same outside dimensions can place very different loads on a stand. Record where the appliance feet contact the deck and include the weight of food, oil, water and accessories used during operation. The supporting frame and deck need to suit that loading pattern.
| Selection item | Information to send |
|---|---|
| Appliance | Manufacturer, model, installation manual and a photograph of the base. |
| Support footprint | Distance between support feet and any parts extending beyond the cabinet. |
| Operating height | Desired working surface height, including the appliance height above the stand. |
| Loading | Operating weight and the position of concentrated loads. |
| Connections | Location of electrical, gas, water and drain connections, where applicable. |
| Installation | Available floor space, cleaning access and the need for a fixed or mobile arrangement. |
Check Access Around the Stand
Allow room to remove grease trays, open service panels and reach the appliance controls. A raised edge or lower shelf should not obstruct those operations. For a mobile arrangement, ask for confirmation of the complete stand, caster and appliance combination before planning movement during cleaning.
If the surface will be used for cutting, mixing or assembly rather than supporting an appliance, compare a commercial stainless steel work table.
Confirm the Construction in the Quotation
Ask the quotation and drawing to identify the stainless steel grade, deck thickness, frame, edge profile, feet and any lower storage. Request the load rating and the conditions attached to it for the offered size. A rating for evenly spread storage should not be applied automatically to a heavy appliance standing on a few small feet.
Cleaning and Daily Access
Follow the appliance instructions for shutdown and cooling before cleaning the supporting area. Keep the deck and floor accessible, remove accumulated grease and check that the appliance and stand remain stable. Use cleaning products compatible with the specified finish.
Request an Equipment Stand Quote
Send the appliance model, support footprint, operating weight, preferred height and kitchen layout. Include the delivery location and any access restrictions. Send your requirements to HSYL.
