Commercial Meat Slicers
Commercial meat slicer selection should start with the ingredient, target slice thickness, product temperature and peak kg/hour requirement. Blade diameter alone does not define whether a machine will maintain cut quality during a long preparation shift.
HSYL currently publishes multiple meat-slicer models. This category page is designed to own the commercial family intent while individual SKU pages continue to target exact model and specification searches.

How to Select the Right Configuration
| Decision Point | What the Buyer / Engineer Should Confirm |
|---|---|
| Raw material | Boneless meat, cooked meat, chilled product or other ingredient and its temperature at slicing. |
| Slice specification | Target thickness range and acceptable tolerance across the shift. |
| Blade / cutting format | Blade diameter, carriage geometry and cutting height must suit the largest product. |
| Throughput | Use peak kg/hour and reload pattern rather than nominal machine size. |
| Cleaning & hygiene | Confirm removable food-contact parts, blade cleaning access and wash-down method. |
| Operator safety | Guarding, emergency stop / interlock and safe sharpening procedure. |
Typical Applications
- Butcher and meat-prep rooms
- Hotel banquet kitchens
- Central kitchens and commissaries
- Restaurant preparation areas
- Institutional foodservice
Engineering & Site Integration
- Provide a dedicated electrical isolator matching the selected model.
- Allow clear operator space for carriage travel, loading and safe blade cleaning.
- Keep raw-meat workflow separated from ready-to-eat preparation where required by the HACCP plan.
- Coordinate downstream trays, GN pans or conveyors with the discharge/collection method.
Procurement Notes
- Do not combine specifications from different HSYL slicer models into one quotation row.
- The HCS500 and HB-320 pages publish different cutting formats; choose by ingredient and cut result, not by price alone.
- Final blade, voltage and guarding configuration should be approved in the signed technical sheet.
Information Required for an Accurate RFQ
- Raw material, ware type or food process handled by the equipment.
- Peak hourly duty, batch size, racks/hour, kg/hour or other relevant capacity metric.
- Required output format, cut size, basket/rack size or process result.
- Available voltage, phase, frequency, gas, steam, water, drainage and ventilation where applicable.
- Installation space, access route and floor plan if available.
- Destination market, documentation requirements and required compliance scope.
- Quantity, accessories, spare parts and target project schedule.

For commercial equipment, model selection should follow the operating duty, site utilities and workflow rather than a catalogue number alone. Send HSYL the process requirement and site conditions so the final model, utility schedule and accessories can be confirmed before quotation.
