Commercial Fridge For Shop
A commercial fridge for a shop needs to present the product range while fitting customer movement and staff replenishment.
A commercial fridge for a shop needs to present the product range while fitting customer movement and staff replenishment. A display cabinet is usually a more relevant starting point than a back-of-house ingredient refrigerator.
Chilled display that fits the shop floor
The product mix determines shelf spacing: bottles, prepared packs and other chilled goods do not occupy the same space. Cabinet depth also affects the aisle and the door-opening position. The best arrangement makes the assortment visible without turning the refrigerator into an obstacle in the selling area.
A shop fridge needs to fit both the stock range and customer movement. A door opening into the payment queue can make even a well-sized display awkward to use.
Consider replenishment from reserve stock and the viewing angle from the entrance before finalising the cabinet position.

E Series Display Refrigerators
The single-door EDTR24-1G is listed at 380 L and 610 × 760 × 1950 mm. Its display format supports a visible assortment of packaged drinks or other suitable chilled products.
A starting point for merchandising where customers or staff need to see the available stock before opening the door.
Q and S Series Display Cabinets
QDTR24-1G is listed at 370 L and 600 × 700 × 1950 mm. This offers a different single-door footprint from the E Series display reference.
Useful when cabinet depth and position on a retail or service route influence the display choice.
Display storage is also presentation
A display refrigerator lets staff or customers see the assortment before opening the door. Glass visibility is only one part of that role: shelf positions, packaging and lighting conditions in the room also affect presentation. A cabinet filled with a readable assortment can be more useful than one packed without regard to product visibility. Reserve stock and the front display need not occupy identical positions.
The cabinet on the service route
A drinks cabinet near a counter can serve staff, while a self-service position needs a comfortable customer approach. Door movement and cabinet depth influence that route. Replenishment also needs to remain practical while the area is busy. These considerations distinguish a display cabinet from a back-of-house ingredient refrigerator even when both offer chilled storage.
Construction details that affect everyday use
Shelves divide the visible assortment into usable levels. Door movement and cabinet depth affect the approach from the aisle or counter. The same nominal storage volume can therefore create very different presentation and replenishment arrangements.

Does listed capacity tell me how many bottles fit?
No. Bottle dimensions, shelf spacing and the chosen display arrangement determine the usable quantity. Capacity in litres does not describe a shelf-by-shelf bottle layout.
